Arab-European centre for human rights and international law welcomes release of judge,Suleiman Zubi after more than 2 years in illegal detention
We appraise all efforts have been exerted by all civic and human rights institutions in this regard
We renew our previous demand from presedential council(PC) of Libyan government of national accord to work on immediate release of all the disappeared and detained
We stress on the importance of protecting the fundamental human rights and the need to prove mechanisms by which all civil society ,human rights,public opinion leaders are protected to exercise their right to freedom of expression as we pay attention to the scale of problem which represents an attack on society as awhole and has remained at unacceptable level in terms of both of numbers of attacks and numbers of regions in which takes place
We call upon the PC of Libyan GNA to take into consideration the following demands
-to demonstrate a proven progress in protecting indispensable human rights,the right to freedom of expression,for individuals and institutions with out being disappeared or intimidated in accordance with SDG16 for2030 adopted by the countries of the world in late 2015 which prove a land mark
-State of Libya should show its commitment to all its pledges and international human rights conventions to both its subjects and international community

يرحب المركز العربي الأوروبي لحقوق الإنسان و القانون الدولي بإطلاق سراح المستشار سليمان زوبي بعد إعتقال غير قانوني دام لأكثر من سنتين كما يثمن المركز كل الجهود التي قامت بها كل المؤسسات الحقوقية و المدنية بالخصوص.
ويجدد المركز مطالبته السابقة للمجلس الرئاسي لحكومة الوفاق الوطني بضرورة العمل على إطلاق سراح كل المحتجزين و المخفين.
كما يؤكد المركز على أهمية صون حقوق الأنسان الأسياسية وضرورة خلق أليات التي من شأنها حماية الأفراد و المؤسسات التي تمارس حقها في التعبير عن رأيها كما ينبه إلى حجم المشكلة و إتساعها والتي تمثل إعتداءا على كل المجتمع بإعتبار وصولها إلى مستويات غير مقبولة من حيث العدد و المناطق التي تحدث فيها.
كما ندعو المجلس الرئاسي لحكومة الوفاق الوطني الليبية إلى إعتبار المطالبات التالية
-إظهار ما يفيد التقدم في حماية حقوق الأنسان الأساسية ومنها حقه في التعبير عن رأيه بلا تعرض للتهديد و الإختفاء وفقا لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة التي تبنتها دول العالم ومنها ليبيا لتتحقق والتي تتطلب إلتزام الدول بأظهار الاليات التى إعتمدتها لحفظ حقوق الإنسان الأساسية.
-إلتزام دولة ليبيا بتعهداتها ومصادقتها على كثير من مواثيق و إتفاقيات حقوق الأنسان و إظهار دلك لرعاياها و العالم.
