Statement
The Arab-European centre of human rights and international law monitors closely,with concern, the status of human rights in Libya as we express our utter disapproval and refusal of continuation of incidence of kidnapping,forced apprehension and torture have affected some of civil society activists,media figures and opinion leaders.We bring to mind the importance of respecting fundamental human rights, one of them exclusively is right to freedom of speech and expressing opinion openly with out exposure to oppression or violence or coercive apprehension,as we are surprised and shocked by the news of kidnapping inflicted on Media figures and NGOs activists occurred on Friday29th,2016 in Libyan capital of Tripoli,martyer sequare,as the following opinion leaders were taken to unknown destinations;

We call upon Fayez AL-saraj government to exert all efforts to eradicate such phenomenon of kidnapping,forced apprehension and murder as the government should take actions to safeguarding the right to freedom of speech and providing medical treatment to those injured and harmed because of their opinion.
We make reference to clause 25,of LPA, Libyan political agreement which stipulates the prosecution and punishment of kidnapping,torture and murder perpetrators as well as other crimes and detainee abuse regardless of their back ground by virtue of international law.

يتابع المركز العربي الاوروبي لحقوق الإنسان و القانون الدولي عن قرب وبقلق شديد أوضاع حقوق الإنسان في ليبياحيث يعبر المركز عن إستهجانه ورفضه لأستمرار وقوع حالات الخطف و الإعتقال القسري و التعذيب التي طالت ناشطي و ناشطات العمل المدني في البلاد وكذلك شخصيات إعلامية و قادة رأى عام.وإذ يذكر المركز بضرورة إحترام حقوق الانسان الاساسية ومنها حصرا حقه في التعبير و المجاهرة برأيه دون ضغط أو تعسف أو إعتقال بلا سند قانوني حيث يستغرب المركز حالات إقتياد لجهات مجهولة طالت نشطاء وإعلاميين يوم الجمعة الماضي29-7-2016 في ميدان الشهداء بالعاصمة الليبية طرابلس حيث تعرض كل من السيد جمال زوبية-رئيس هيئة الاعلام الخارجي

لعمليات خطف من قبل جهات مجهولة

يناشد المركز العربي الأوروبي لحقوق الانسان و القانون الدولي حكومة السيد فائز السراج ضرورة بدل كافة الجهود من أجل القضاء على ضاهرة الخطف و الاعتقال التعسفي بدون سن قانوني وحماية أصحاب الرأي وضمان صون حرية التعبير وتوفير العلاج الطبي لمن يتعرض للأذى و الضرر جراء ممارسته لحقه الطبيعي في التعبير عن رأيه,ويذكر المركز حكومة السراج بالفقرة25 من الاتفاق السياسي الليبي التي نصت على الملاحقة القضائية ومعاقبة مرتكبي القتل و التعذيب و غيرها من الجرائم بموجب القانون الدولي بما في ذلك سؤء المعاملة ضد المحتجزين أيا من كان.
